Hypnotherapy

A certified hypnotherapist, I practice hypnotherapy and life coaching here in Durham, NC. People who wish to make life changes, manage and resolve physical and emotional pain, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, allergies, relationship issues, co-dependency issues, career related issues, unwanted habits and habitual patterns come to me for hypnotherapy and coaching. While traditional hypnotherapy can be included in life coaching sessions, life coaching need not be included in hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is a very efficient way of finding the root causes of your issues and resolving them in a relatively short time. Hypnotherapy very effectively resolves emotional trauma. It brings you to experience lasting inner peace, and promotes improving health. Coaching essentially involves talking through problems and issues and working out strategies for making effective changes in your life. Hypnotherapy in itself is a direct way of accessing your unconscious resources. Hypnotherapy and life coaching work very well together, and are relatively short term therapies.

My interest in offering life coaching evolved out of my work in Ericksonian hypnotherapeutic methods. The Ericksonian approach to hypnotherapy is characterized by positively utilizing whatever you bring up in conversation. The Ericksonian approach listens closely to everything and uses everything that you say in order to show you how you may transform your condition so that the condition changes into what you desire for yourself in life. In the Ericksonian view, hypnotherapy and life coaching are completely complementary.
